Gregory Vajda

The Giant Baby

The world-renowned contemporary Hungarian composer and conductor Gregory Vajda has partnered with Kolibri Teatre’s writer-dramaturge Péter Horváth to create the new script of the opera staged by him before. Vajda also writes the music score of the new puppet opera. Tackling the fundamental questions of life, the performance is primarily made for teenage audiences and offers them a unique experience by using in the opera grotesque, Dadaist elements uncommon in this genre. The performance is the co-production of the international Armel Opera Festival and Kolibri Theatre.
